1. Who we are
Caxess Corporation, based in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, operates CAXFlix and is the controller responsible for personal information processed through caxflix.com. 2. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password hash, account status and account dates.
- Orders and access: selected movie, rent or buy choice, amount, currency, payment method, order status, provider reference, access dates and entitlement status.
- Payment information: Stripe processes card details. CAXFlix receives payment status and transaction references, not your complete card number. For crypto payments, we store the selected currency, destination wallet, expected amount, confirmations and order reference; blockchain transactions are publicly visible.
- Requests and searches: movie searches, back-order requests and, where you are signed in, the account connected to a request.
- Technical and security data: session identifiers, IP-derived hashes used for rate limiting, IP addresses and request information in server or Cloudflare security logs, browser/device information, timestamps and security events.
- Communications: information you send when contacting support.
3. How and why we use information
- To create and secure accounts, process orders, confirm payment and provide rented or purchased access where necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To answer support enquiries, manage back-orders, operate catalogue search and maintain service records.
- To prevent fraud, enforce rate limits, investigate attacks, protect private media and maintain system reliability where this is necessary for our legitimate interests.
- To meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection, legal and regulatory obligations.
- To use consent where the law requires it, such as for optional cookies or marketing introduced in the future.
CAXFlix AI interprets movie-search requests and ranks catalogue results. It is not used to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Cookies and similar technology
CAXFlix uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember temporary paid access and maintain checkout security. These are required for the service to work.
Trailer embeds use YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain. Loading embedded videos or external payment and QR resources may connect your browser to those providers, which may receive technical information under their own privacy policies.
5. Who receives information
We disclose information only where needed to operate CAXFlix, complete a transaction, protect the service or comply with law. Recipients may include:
- Stripe for card checkout and payment confirmation;
- blockchain networks and supporting crypto-rate or QR services for crypto checkout;
- Cloudflare and hosting, database, storage, security and infrastructure providers;
- YouTube when you choose to load a trailer;
- professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement or rights holders where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use providers and transfer safeguards intended to protect personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected. Account information is normally kept while an account remains active. Order, entitlement, payment-reference and accounting records may be kept longer to resolve disputes and meet legal, tax and fraud-prevention requirements. Rate-limit data is short-lived. Back-order and support records are kept until resolved and for a reasonable follow-up period.
When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it, unless the law requires continued retention.
8. Security
We use access controls, password hashing, private media storage, signed or controlled playback access, rate limiting, logging and Cloudflare security measures. No internet system is risk-free, so keep your password private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase personal information; restrict or object to processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

10. Children
CAXFlix is not directed at children who can independently enter into a paid digital-content contract. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use and ensure that selected content is age-appropriate.
