The UK and Ireland box office witnessed a thrilling showdown this weekend as Sony’s superhero blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day secured its third consecutive week at number one. The film added £6.1 million ($8.3 million) to its tally, pushing its total gross to an impressive $106.5 million after just 20 days in cinemas.
Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey Holds Steady
Following closely behind, Universal’s epic The Odyssey, helmed by acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, maintained its stronghold in second place during its fifth week. The film brought in $5 million this weekend, raising its cumulative total to $93.4 million. Nolan’s latest offering continues to captivate audiences with its grand scale and storytelling prowess.
